30 Things I’d Like To Do Before I Turn 75

Posted by Shannon on March 15, 2008

I thought this would be interesting, plus it would allow me to see if my shoulder is OK after hurting it earlier today. (I’m all about working an injury out.)

So here it is 30 places and events that I’d like to experience before I turn 75. In no particular order:

1) Play a round of golf at St. Andrews in Scotland.

2) Have dinner by the Eiffel Tower.

3) Visit all 50 states at least once.

4) Attend the Daytona and Indianapolis 500

5) Attend the Super Bowl

6) Visit the Holy Land.

7) Hike the Appalachian Trail

8) Go to Sydney, Austrailia

9) Attend all 3 Triple Crown horse races

10) Pray with the West Virginia University football team before a game.

11) Vacation in the Colorado mountains.

12) Go to England.

13) Go to Italy.

14) Play a round of golf at Augusta.

15) Go skydiving.

16) See the Egyptian Pyramids.

17) Coach high school wrestling or baseball.

18) Apologize to Tiger Woods for cheering too loudly during the 2005 U.S. Open. (In other words, get to actually meet him.)

19) Drive the Autobahn in a Chevy.

20) See the Great Wall of China.

21) Tour Gettysburg, Normandy, and Yorktown.

22)  Attend the Olympics.

23) Learn how to ski.

24) Learn how to dance.

25)  Attend all three golf majors in the United States (I’ve got one down.)

26)  Find a way to heal a rotator cup without seeing a doctor.

27) Go to Yosemite National Park.

28) See Mt. Rushmore.

29) Take a cruise throughout the Carribbean.

30) Find a way to offer church services to fans at NFL games.
